“Why Chi Gung?”

So, “Why Chi Gung?”

I was drawn to this practice by the thought that there are “gates” in our body that, once opened, would allow more energy to flow through me. I was, quite simply, fascinated by that thought!

I was – and still am – blessed to have been introduced to the “gates” and “The Eight Pieces of Brocade” by my wonderful teacher Ram Chatlani over 20 years ago. Ram has worked with many of the recognised masters of Chi Gung /Tai Chi traditions including Bruce Frantzis the author of “Opening the Energy Gates of the Body.”

These two daily practices have been one of my foundations for staying healthy, fit and active over the years and, at 73, have helped me in no small way to return to full fitness after a serious illness last year.

This, of course, is not a panacea for staying healthy but it has been a significant factor for me in my quest to live well … see it as one element in your personal agenda for health and well-being.

Please enjoy the videos and get in touch if you want to further develop your practice.
